Out of 570 entries from 50 countries a number of 110 documents were selected. Next to animations, essays, experimental or abstract work, are music video’s, documentaries and fictions part of the Video salon program.

Huub Mous (counsellor of art Foundation Keunstwurk) and Toos Arends (curator Visual Art at the Frisian Museum) were invited for the selection, together with Esma Moukhtar, Erwin van‘t Hart and festival programmers Wim Bors en Nadine Bors.
Moukhtar and Van ‘t Hart were invited as programmers of the Video salon program. Esma Moukhtar (1972) publishes about and selects for different film, video and new media festivals and teaches at the Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam and the Amsterdam School of Arts.
Erwin van ‘t hart (1969) worked at the cultural centre de Balie in Amsterdam and is now working for the Filmbank, distributor of Dutch film in Amsterdam. With the foundation Open air Cinema he trailers each summer across Europe visiting festivals and events.
