Multi Media Art Friesland Award (MMAF)

Students of Frisian MBO and HBO colleges can submit their work for the MMAF.
Three winners will be chosen for the Multi Media Art Friesland award.

  • First place: 250 euro
  • Second place: 150 euro
  • Third place: 50 euro

International Student Media Art Friesland Award (ISMAF)

The International Student Media Art award stimulates students in their innovative and creative skills. An independent panel of judges decides who will win the €500,- prize.

The rules...

  • Per artist a maximum of three works may be submitted on DVD
  • Works may not be more than three years old
  • The costs of returning the VHS/DVD are for the sender
  • Materials sent in from outside the EU must be labelled: “For temporary, cultural purposes only - No commercial value.”
  • The selection material remains in the archive of Media Art Friesland if no stamps have been enclosed for returning the materials
  • The entry must reach the office address of Media Art Friesland before the deadline
  • Entering into the competition implies that the candidate accepts the terms and conditions of Media Art Friesland Festival
  • Each work must represent a personal question, issue or reflection and show experiment with the medium of choice
  • The choices made by the selection committee is final.

 


Media Art’s 12th scouting tour of the Dutch Academies

Like every summer the Dutch academies are showing their best emerging young talent in their end-of-year shows. This year Media Art Festival's 12th Young Talent show, 3 - 14 september, will be showcasing just those students for their artistic promise and poise.
