ProjectsMedia Art Friesland stands for innovation. Media Art Friesland annually books several varied project. These projects range from exhibitions, presentations and events to educational projects. Through the vision and goals of free development, application, presentation and reflection on new technologies, Media Art Friesland supports both large and small initiatives. The projects are, through cooperation with cultural and educational institutions and corporations, a stimulus for artists and students of visual arts and new media.

Media Art’s 12th scouting tour of the Dutch Academies
Like every summer the Dutch academies are showing their best emerging young talent in their end-of-year shows. This year Media Art Festival's 12th Young Talent show, 3 - 14 september, will be showcasing just those students for their artistic promise and poise.
