Wildbeamen/ Videoskoop

{25 - 30 september Galerie Sign, Winschoterkade 10 Groningen, wed – sat 13.00-17.00, sun 14.00-17.00}

WILDBEAMEN is organised by Gallery Sign in Groningen and takes place between sunset and sunrise (check the website for dates and location). The films and video’s are made especially for this project and are adjusted to the special characteristics of ‘wildbeaming’. Playing with the position (moving, driven from a van, or standing sill) space (town-planning and infrastructure of the city, the village, the newly built area) place and surface (ground, buildings, living creatures, screens) and the medium and characteristics of the technique.

The Videoskoop is a fixed part of the exhibition programme at gallery Sign in Groningen. Here, the audience can watch videos of their own choice. During the Media Art Festival, Sign will project different works from an international selection on a large screen.
